Paratypes: CAS 35988 (10, now 8). •Valid as Entosphenus hubbsi Vladykov & Kott 1976 -- (Yamazaki & Goto 2000:8 [ref. 24514], Lang et al. 2009:51 [ref. 31599] as "Entosphenus" hubbsi, Page & Burr 2011:129 [ref. 31215], Renaud 2011:28 [ref. 31770]). •Valid as Lampetra hubbsi (Vladykov & Kott 1976) -- (Lee et al. 1980:26 [ref. 22416], Vladykov & Kott 1984:123 [ref. 13935], Page & Burr 1991:21 [ref. 18983], Moyle 2002:103 [ref. 26449], Nelson et al. 2004:48 [ref. 27807], Scharpf 2005:5 [ref. 28940], Reid et al. 2011:42 [ref. 31592], Page et al. 2013:48 [ref. 32708], Carim et al. 2023:[14] [ref. 40103], Page et al. 2023:36 [ref. 40505]). Current status: Valid as Lampetra hubbsi (Vladykov & Kott 1976). Petromyzontidae. Distribution: North America: California (U.S.A.). Habitat: freshwater.
