Holotype: CAS-SU 66947 (missing in 1995). Paratypes: EPN P.4.101-103 (3), P.4.105-108 (4) to be deposited at ANSP, BMNH, USNM. •Valid as Tomicodon prodomus Briggs 1969 -- (Szelistowski 1990:504 [ref. 20183], Briggs 2001:646 [ref. 25451]). Current status: Valid as Tomicodon prodomus Briggs 1969. Gobiesocidae: Gobiesocinae. Distribution: Eastern Pacific. Habitat: marine.
