W.] 1936:393 [Proceedings of the California Academy of Sciences (Series 4) v. 21 (no. 29); ref. 839] Isabela Island [Albemarle Island], Galápagos Islands (at submerged light). Holotype: CAS 3988. Paratypes: CAS (1, 1, 22, 1, 6, 57, 2, 7, 10, 1, 1, 1) but only CAS 21220 (1) on type shelves. •Synonym of Hypsoblennius brevipinnis (Günther 1861) -- (Bath 1996:90 [ref. 22687]). Current status: Synonym of Hypsoblennius brevipinnis (Günther 1861). Blenniidae: Salariinae. Habitat: marine.
