Type catalog: Gilbert 1998:147 [ref. 23395]. •Synonym of Rhinichthys falcatus (Eigenmann & Eigenmann 1893) -- (Gilbert 1998:147 [ref. 23395], Scott & Crossman 1998:500 [ref. 24570]). Current status: Synonym of Rhinichthys falcatus (Eigenmann & Eigenmann 1893). Cyprinidae: Pogonichthyinae. Habitat: freshwater.
