minor, Rhoadsia Eigenmann [C. H.] & Henn [A. W.] 1914:231 [Indiana University Studies v. 2 (no. 24); ref. 11067] Mindo, Pichincha Province, western Ecuador, elevation 4000 feet (about 1260 meters). Holotype: CAS 62221 [ex IU 13419]. Paratypes: (91) CAS 32457 [ex IU 13420] (95). •Valid as Rhoadsia minor Eigenmann & Henn 1914 -- (Ovchynnyk 1967:30 [ref. 37559] as Roadsia minor, Cardoso in Reis et al. 2003:214 [ref. 27061], Barriga Salazar 2014:109 [ref. 35745], Jiménez-Prado et al. 2015:157 [ref. 34894], Aguirre et al. 2016:555 [ref. 34674], Escobar Camacho et al. 2024:8 [ref. 40892], Reis 2024:269 [ref. 40817]). Current status: Valid as Rhoadsia minor Eigenmann & Henn 1914. Characidae: Stethaprioninae. Distribution: South America: Esmeraldas River basin, Pacific drainage (northwestern Ecuador). Habitat: freshwater.
