Paratype: CAS-SU 16945 (1, stained). •Valid as Thrissobrycon pectinifer Böhlke 1953 -- (Malabarba in Reis et al. 2003:157 [ref. 27061], DoNascimiento et al. 2017:62 [ref. 35633], Moreira 2024:282 [ref. 40817]). Current status: Valid as Thrissobrycon pectinifer Böhlke 1953. Characidae: Characids incertae sedis. Distribution: South America: Orinoco River basin, Colombia and Brazil. Habitat: freshwater.
