mancoi, Astroblepus Eigenmann [C. H.] in Myers 1928:85 [Annals and Magazine of Natural History (Series 10) v. 2 (no. 7); ref. 3100] Río Comberciato, Urubamba, Upper Amazon, Peru, elevation 1800 feet. Syntypes: CAS 64620 [ex IU 13747] (5); MCZ 30969-70 (11, 3). Type catalog: Ferraris 2007:65 [ref. 29155]. Author is C. H. Eigenmann. Type (holotype) apparently not distinguishable in MCZ material. •Valid as Astroblepus mancoi Eigenmann 1928 -- (Ortega & Vari 1986:18 [ref. 9708], Burgess 1989:449 [ref. 12860], Schaefer in Reis et al. 2003:314 [ref. 27061], Ferraris 2007:65 [ref. 29155], Ardila Rodríguez 2011:31 [ref. 31411] as cf. mancoi from Colombia, Ardila Rodríguez 2014:3 [ref. 33721] with parentheses around author, Ardila Rodríguez 2016:8 [ref. 34889] as cf. mancoi). Current status: Valid as Astroblepus mancoi Eigenmann 1928. Astroblepidae. Distribution: Upper Ucayali River basin, Peru. Habitat: freshwater.
