T.] in Herre & Myers 1937:61, Pl. 5 [Bulletin of the Raffles Museum No. 13; ref. 2123] Yum River, tributary of Plus River, eastern Perak, Malaysia, elevation about 2000 feet. Holotype: CAS-SU 30969. Paratypes: CAS-SU 69113 (2), USNM 101191 (1). Type catalog: Böhlke 1953:33 [ref. 12291]. •In genus Neolissochilus -- (Rainboth 1985:31 [ref. 5968]). •Valid as Neolissochilus tweediei (Herre 1937) -- (Doi 1997:8 [ref. 22832], Kottelat 2013:128 [ref. 32989]). •Synonym of Neolissochiles soroides (Duncker 1904) -- (Khaironizam et al. 2015:155 [ref. 33812]). •Synonym of Neolissochilus soro (Valenciennes 1842). Current status: Synonym of Neolissochilus soro (Valenciennes 1842). Cyprinidae: Torinae. Distribution: Malay Peninsula. Habitat: freshwater.
