Type catalog: Henn 1928:70 [ref. 12305], Ibarra & Stewart 1987:77 [ref. 12367] but footnote indicated only 2 lots are types; most FMNH lots are other material. •Synonym of Roeboides dayi (Steindachner 1878) -- (Lucena 2000:24 [ref. 24559], Lucena & Menezes in Reis et al. 2003:205 [ref. 27061], Lucena 2024:271 [ref. 40817]).
