Also appeared as new as Gilbert in Gilbert & Scofield 1898:488, Pl. 36 [ref. 14633]. •Synonym of Catostomus clarkii Baird & Girard 1854 -- (Smith 1966:73 [ref. 21398], Gilbert 1998:172 [ref. 23395]). •Synonym of Pantosteus clarkii (Baird & Girard 1854) -- (Minckley & Marsh 2009:203 [ref. 31114] as clarki). Current status: Synonym of Pantosteus clarkii (Baird & Girard 1854). Catostomidae: Catostominae. Habitat: freshwater.
