Subjectively invalid; secondarily preoccupied in Notropis by Alburnus nitidus Kirtland 1854, replaced by Notropis braytoni Jordan & Evermann 1896. •Synonym of Notropis braytoni Jordan & Evermann 1896 -- (Gilbert 1978:64 [ref. 7042], Gilbert 1998:121 [ref. 23395], Miller 2006:131 [ref. 28615]). •Synonym of Alburnops braytoni (Jordan & Evermann 1896). Current status: Synonym of Alburnops braytoni Jordan & Evermann 1896. Cyprinidae: Pogonichthyinae. Habitat: freshwater.
