Paratypes: CAS-SU 6506 (7), 6538 (9), 2299-2300 (1, 1, both missing). •Valid as Azurina eupalama Heller & Snodgrass 1903 -- (Allen 1991:237 [ref. 19344], Allen & Robertson 1994:186 [ref. 22193], Schneider & Krupp in Fischer et al. 1995:1398 [ref. 22830], Grove & Lavenberg 1997:473 [ref. 24023], McCosker & Rosenblatt 2010:193 [ref. 30957], Parenti 2021:48 [ref. 38418]). Current status: Valid as Azurina eupalama Heller & Snodgrass 1903. Pomacentridae: Chrominae. Distribution: Eastern Pacific: Galápagos Islands (Ecuador) endemic. Habitat: marine.
