Type catalog: Böhlke 1953:77-78 [ref. 12291]. •Valid as Odontoscion eurymesops (Heller & Snodgrass 1903) -- (Allen & Robertson 1994:163 [ref. 22193], Chao in Fischer et al. 1995:1482 [ref. 22830], Grove & Lavenberg 1997:419 [ref. 24023], McCosker & Rosenblatt 2010:192 [ref. 30957], Parenti 2020:34 [ref. 37439]). Current status: Valid as Odontoscion eurymesops (Heller & Snodgrass 1903). Sciaenidae. Distribution: Eastern Pacific: Galápagos Islands (Ecuador). Habitat: marine.
