Holotype: CAS-SU 13984. Paratypes: FMNH 47086 [ex CM] (1), CAS-SU 16703 (1). Type catalog: Böhlke 1953:78 [ref. 12291], Ibarra & Stewart 1987:63 [ref. 12367]. •Synonym of Bahaba taipingensis (Herre 1932) -- (Trewavas 1977:285 [ref. 4459], Zhong in Pan et al. 1991:380 [ref. 23876], Parenti 2020:8 [ref. 37439]). Current status: Synonym of Bahaba taipingensis (Herre 1932). Sciaenidae. Habitat: brackish, marine.
