Original genus should have been Mionorus. •Synonym of Apogon poecilopterus Cuvier 1828 -- (Fraser 2000:257 [ref. 24412]). •Valid as Jaydia heraldi (Herre 1943) -- (Fraser & Prokofiev 2016:239 [ref. 34742]). Current status: Valid as Jaydia heraldi (Herre 1943). Apogonidae: Apogoninae. Distribution: Philippines. Habitat: brackish, marine.
