Type catalog: Böhlke 1953:96 [ref. 12291], Ibarra & Stewart 1987:36 [ref. 12367]. •Synonym of Exerpes asper (Jenkins & Evermann 1889) -- (Hastings & Springer 2009:10 [ref. 31156]). •Synonym of Paraclinus asper (Hubbs 1952). Current status: Synonym of Paraclinus asper (Jenkins & Evermann 1889). Labrisomidae. Habitat: marine.
