Narcacion Gill [T. N.] (ex Klein) 1861:61 Masc. Torpedo occidentalis Storer 1843. Type by monotypy. Apparently the first valid use of Narcacion Klein; only one species mentioned by Gill. •Synonym of Torpedo Duméril 1805. Current status: Synonym of Torpedo Duméril 1805. Torpedinidae.
