Merophorus Garman [S.] 1899:114 Masc. Merophorus angustifrons Garman 1899. Type by monotypy. The name Merophorus angustifrons appeared only on p. 114 with mention of two characteristics of the species. Thereafter, all uses of the species name angustifrons were in combination with the genus Paraliparis. •Synonym of Paraliparis Collett 1879 -- (Chernova et al. 2004:32 [ref. 27592]).
