On p. 7 of separate. •Synonym of Thymallus arcticus (Pallas 1776), but a valid subspecies -- (Chereshnev 1996:603 [ref. 24659], Reshetnikov et al. 1997:732 [ref. 24702], Dorofeeva 1998:48 [ref. 23573], Chereshnev et al. 2001:75 [ref. 26736]). •Synonym of Thymallus arcticus (Pallas 1776) -- (Baxter & Stone 1995:201 [ref. 23374], Scott & Crossman 1998:304 [ref. 24570], Mecklenburg et al. 2002:191 [ref. 25968]). •Mention -- (Kottelat 2006:86 [ref. 28831]). •Valid as Thymallus signifer (Richardson 1823) -- (Dyldin et al. 2017:115 [ref. 35967], Weiss et al. 2020:[3] [ref. 37974]). Current status: Valid as Thymallus signifer (Richardson 1823). Salmonidae: Thymallinae. Distribution: North Asia: Chukchi Peninsula; coasts of Arctic Ocean north of 62°N (Russia). Habitat: freshwater, brackish, marine.
