Bleeker specimens: BMNH 1880.4.21.37 (1), NMV 46508 (1). •Synonym of Lutjanus carponotatus (Richardson 1842) -- (Allen & Talbot 1985:28 [ref. 6491], Allen 1985:69 [ref. 6843]). Current status: Synonym of Lutjanus carponotatus (Richardson 1842). Lutjanidae: Lutjaninae. Habitat: marine.
