Paratypes: (49) USNM 8241 (7), 123236 (5). •Synonym of Dormitator latifrons (Richardson 1844) -- (Castro-Aguirre et al. 1999:414 [ref. 24550], Kullander in Reis et al. 2003:658 [ref. 27061], Parenti 2021:32 [ref. 38603]) Current status: Synonym of Dormitator latifrons (Richardson 1844). Eleotridae: Eleotrinae. Habitat: freshwater, brackish, marine.
