Bleeker specimens: BMNH 1880.4.21.138 (1), RMNH 31185 (5). Type information: Gill 1995:244 [ref. 22086]. •Synonym of Labracinus cyclophthalmus (Müller & Troschel 1849) -- (Gill 1995:244 [ref. 22086], Gill & Randall 1999:96 [ref. 24270], Gill 1999:2571 [ref. 24817], Gill 2004:27 [ref. 27767], Ito et al. 2021:10 [ref. 38467]). Current status: Synonym of Labracinus cyclophthalmus (Müller & Troschel 1849). Pseudochromidae: Pseudochrominae. Habitat: marine.
