Based on Hollard [manuscript] and to Parra citation taken from Hollard; original localities therefore are Cuba and Indian seas. Also appeared in Hollard 1855:11 [ref. 19529] as Aluterus anginosus (see that account). •Synonym of Aluterus monoceros (Linnaeus 1758). Current status: Synonym of Aluterus monoceros (Linnaeus 1758).
