Based on a drawing and attributed to Peters, MS; Günther evidently formed the description and was unaware of Peters' prior published description. Objectively invalid; preoccupied by Barbus radiatus Peters 1853. •In the synonymy of Enteromius radiatus (Peters 1853) -- (Hayes & Armbruster 2017:355 [ref. 35417]). 1°Homonym.
