The plate for this species was "pirated" from Hamilton's unpublished illustrations -- see McClelland 1839:221 [ref. 2923]. •Objective synonym of Moringua raitaborua (Hamilton 1822) -- (Kottelat 2013:40 [ref. 32989]).
