Holotype (unique): BMNH 1865.4.6.12. •Valid as Hyperopisus bebe (Lacepède 1803), but a valid subspecies -- (Gosse 1984:78 [ref. 6169], Lévèque et al. 1991:138 [ref. 31367]). Current status: Synonym of Hyperopisus bebe (Lacepède 1803). Mormyridae. Distribution: Western Africa. Habitat: freshwater. |
