(sic, for ductor) in synonymy; and this suggests he did not intend a new species name, conductor could be regarded as a misspelling. See also Opinion 1799. With type as above, Citula would be a senior synonym of Pseudocaranx, and the ICZN should be petitioned to conserve Pseudocaranx -- (Smith-Vaniz & Jelks 2006:98 [ref. 28900]).
