Pangio Blyth [E.] 1860:169 Fem. Cobitis cinnamomea McClelland 1839 (= Cobitis pangia Hamilton 1822). Type by monotypy. Blyth treated pangia (spelled by him as pangio) Hamilton 1822 and cinnamomea McClelland 1839 as synonymous, using the latter name as valid.
