Apparently not treated by Ferraris 2007 [ref. 29155]. •Valid as Leiarius Bleeker 1862 -- (Stewart 1986:667 [ref. 5211], Burgess 1989:282 [ref. 12860] but as Müller & Troschel 1849 and with type as pictus). [A. pictus apparently is the same as longibarbis, however.] •Valid as Leiarius Bleeker 1862 -- (Lundberg et al. 1991:842 [ref. 19175], de Pinna 1998:315 [ref. 23847], Britski et al. 1999:104 [ref. 24147], Lundberg & Littmann in Reis et al. 2003:437 [ref. 27061], Ferraris 2007:334 [ref. 29155], Lundberg et al. 2011:169 [ref. 31593], Grant 2021:70 [ref. 38702]).
