In one of two copies at CAS the specific name is clearly spelled rapensis; we suspect the rapensis spelling was first, and then changed to capensis as Petromizon was changed to Petromyzon on p. 1513. Compagno & Heemstra date to 1929, a reimpression of Tirant 1885.
