Paratypes: USNM 175254 (3), 185083 (2). •Valid as Bathyanthias cubensis (Schultz 1958) -- (Randall & Taylor 1988:2 [ref. 6429], Heemstra et al. 2003:1325 [ref. 27060], McEachran & Fechhelm 2005:132 [ref. 28815], Parenti & Randall 2020:103 [ref. 37354], Esmaeili et al. 2023:218 [ref. 40327]). Current status: Valid as Bathyanthias cubensis (Schultz 1958). Liopropomatidae: Liopropomatinae. Distribution: Western Atlantic: Cuba. Habitat: marine.
