C.] 1909:679 [Proceedings of the United States National Museum v. 36 (no. 1694); ref. 11653] Northeastern Atlantic off Florida, U.S.A., 29°41'N, 79°55'W, Albatross station 2664, depth 373 fathoms. Holotype (unique): USNM 62917. •Synonym of Benthobatis marcida Bean & Weed 1909 -- (Carvalho 1999:245 [ref. 23940], Rincon et al. 2001:46 [ref. 25509], Carvalho et al. 2003:927 [ref. 27551]).
