Current status: Valid as Discordipinna filamentosa Chen, Suzuki & Shao 2012. Gobiidae: Gobiinae. Distribution: Northwestern Pacific: Ryukyu Islands (Japan) north to southern Kyushu (Japan) and Sabah, Malaysia. Habitat: marine.
