Paratypes: UF 208312 (1), 173088 (1); USNM 394968 (1). •Valid as Elacatinus serranilla Randall & Lobel 2009 -- (Colin 2010:38, 47 [ref. 30879], Van Tassell 2011:153 [ref. 31732]). Current status: Valid as Elacatinus serranilla Randall & Lobel 2009. Gobiidae: Gobiinae. Distribution: Western Atlantic. Habitat: marine.
