Subjectively invalid; secondarily preoccupied by Garmania spongicola Radcliffe 1917 when both are placed in Evermannichthys; replaced by Evermannichthys metzelaari Hubbs 1923. •Synonym of Evermannichthys metzelaari Hubbs 1923. 2°Homonym.
