Type catalog: Angulo et al. 2015:376 [ref. 35212]. •Valid as Iridio salmofasciatus (Allen & Robertson 2002) -- (Kuiter 2010:221 [ref. 35285]). •Valid as Halichoeres salmofasciatus Allen & Robertson 2002 -- (Parenti & Randall 2011:34 [ref. 31299], Wainwright et al. 2017:37 [ref. 35725], Victor et al. 2024:14 [ref. 40864]). Current status: Valid as Halichoeres salmofasciatus Allen & Robertson 2002. Labridae. Distribution: Eastern Pacific: Isla del Coco. Habitat: marine.
