Plus non-type specimens. •Valid as Halieutichthys bispinosus Ho, Chakrabarty & Sparks 2010 -- (Ho et al. 2010:851 [ref. 30891], Page et al. 2013:98 [ref. 32708]). Current status: Valid as Halieutichthys bispinosus Ho, Chakrabarty & Sparks 2010. Ogcocephalidae. Distribution: Western Atlantic: Atlantic coast of southern U.S.A. and throughout the Gulf of Mexico. Habitat: marine.
