Paratypes: MCZ 28057B (1, not found). •Valid as Lepophidium kallion Robins 1959 -- (Robins in Nielsen et al. 1999:35 [ref. 24448], Claro et al. 2000:21 [ref. 26458], Nielsen & Robins 2003:968 [ref. 27008] with date is 1960, Garrido-Linares & Acero P. 2006:292 [ref. 28946], Robins et al. 2012:19 [ref. 32161]). Current status: Valid as Lepophidium kallion Robins 1959. Ophidiidae: Ophidiinae. Distribution: Western Atlantic: Bahamas to Cuba, Antilles to Barbados. Habitat: marine.
