Current status: Valid as Liopropoma aberrans (Poey 1860). Liopropomatidae: Liopropomatinae. Distribution: Western Atlantic: Bahamas and Cuba south to Espirito Santo (Brazil), including Gulf of Mexico. Habitat: marine.
