Current status: Valid as Lucifuga gibarensis Hernández, Møller, Casane & García-Machado 2020. Bythitidae. Distribution: Isolated karst caves, north of Gibara, Holguín province, Cuba, western Atlantic. Habitat: freshwater, brackish.

Infrasubspecific. Current status: Synonym of Lucifuga gibarensis Hernández, Møller, Casane & García-Machado 2020. Bythitidae. Habitat: freshwater, brackish.
