Current status: Valid as Lythrypnus heterochroma Ginsburg 1939. Gobiidae: Gobiinae. Distribution: Western Atlantic: Bahamas south to Belize, including southern Gulf of Mexico and northwestern Caribbean Sea. Habitat: marine.
