Holotype: INVEMAR-P 1185. Paratypes: ICNMNH 1072 (5); INVEMAR-P 1180 (1), 1182-87 (1, 67, 31, 5, 25, 2), 1189-90 (1, 1); UF 44557 (7), 44559 (6), 234418 [ex UMML 34418] (3). Type catalog: Mojica & Agudelo-Zamora 2018:49 [ref. 36127]. •Valid as Lythrypnus minimus Garzón-Ferreira & Acero P. 1988 -- (Murdy & Hoese 2003:1794 [ref. 27111], Smith et al. 2003:63 [ref. 27621], Parenti 2021:196 [ref. 38603]).
