Paratypes: USNM 93304 (2), BMNH 1935.1.26.1 [ex USNM] (1) •Valid as Poecilopsetta albomarginata Reid 1934 -- (Menezes & Figueiredo in Menezes et al. 2003:106 [ref. 27192]). •Synonym of Poecilopsetta inermis (Breder 1927) -- (Sakamoto 1984:210 [ref. 5273], Hoshino 2000:95 [ref. 24485], Guibord & Chapleau 2001:1081 [ref. 25825], Evseenko 2004:17 [ref. 27606]). Current status: Synonym of Poecilopsetta inermis (Breder 1927). Poecilopsettidae. Habitat: marine.
