Holotype: MEPA II.116. Paratypes: MEPA I.130 (1). Authorship given in original as Nümann sp. nov., but he may not have been responsible for the description. Holotype wrongly given as "Neótypo." •Probably a synonym of Cubiceps capensis (Smith 1845) -- (Haedrich 1967:81 [ref. 5357]). •Synonym of Psenes pellucidus Lütken 1880 -- (Haedrich 1973:563 [ref. 7216], Haedrich 1990:1018 [ref. 19509]).
