bustamantaei, Lentipes Boulenger [G. A.] (ex Greeff) 1916:46 [Catalogue of the fresh-water fishes of Africa v. 4; ref. 585] São Tomé Island, Rio do Ouro, Gulf of Guinea. Syntypes: BMNH 1914.12.28.3-12 (now 6). Based on Sicydium bustamantei Greeff 1884; name changed to bustamantaei by Boulenger. Boulenger made his description from new specimens, not from Greeff specimens. Lentipes bustamantaei is available. Spelled plümieri originally; and would be emended to pluemieri on ICZN Art. 32.5.2.1; derivation not given but presumed to be on the person Plumier (not a German name but the German spelling of a French name). The spelling plumieri is an incorrect subsequent spelling in prevailing usage and should be maintained.
