maetaengensis, Danio Fang [F.] 1997:43, Figs. 2-6 [Ichthyological Exploration of Freshwaters v. 8 (no. 1); ref. 22873] Nam Mae Taeng River, tributary of Mae Nam Ping River, about 56 kilometers north of Chiang Mai, Thailand. Holotype: ANSP 174721. Paratypes: ANSP 57257 (31), 59292 (9), 89590 (73); NRM 35641-42 (6, 4). •Valid as Danio maetaengensis Fang 1997 -- (Fang 2000:13 [ref. 24479]). •Valid as Devario maetaengensis (Fang 1997) -- (Fang 2001:17 [ref. 25285], Fang 2003:717 [ref. 27255], Fang et al. 2009:17 [ref. 29983], Fang & Kullander 2009:39 [ref. 30284]). •Valid as 'Inlecypris' maetaengensis (Fang 1997) -- (Kottelat 2013:113 [ref. 32989]). Current status: Valid as Inlecypris maetaengensis (Fang 1997). Danionidae: Danioninae. Distribution: Northern Thailand. Habitat: freshwater.
