amblyrhynchus, Psilotris Smith [D. G.] & Baldwin [C. C.] 1999:434, Figs. 1, 2, 3A-B [Proceedings of the Biological Society of Washington v. 112 (no. 2); ref. 24419] Between Carrie Bow Cay and Twin Cays, lagoos "shot hole", Belize, depth 15-20 feet. Holotype: USNM 321019. Other specimens: USNM (several), not treated as paratypes. Psilotris is feminine, so species should be amblyrhyncha if an adjective. •Valid as Psilotris amblyrhynchus Smith & Baldwin 1999 -- (Murdy & Hoese 2003:1794 [ref. 27111], Smith et al. 2003:64 [ref. 27621], Van Tassell 2011:155 [ref. 31732], Lobel & Lobel 2011:50 [ref. 31774]). •Valid as Carrigobius amblyrhynchus (Smith & Baldwin 1999) -- (Tornabene et al. 2016:13 [ref. 34435]). Current status: Valid as Carrigobius amblyrhynchus (Smith & Baldwin 1999). Gobiidae: Gobiinae. Distribution: Western Atlantic: Belize. Habitat: marine.
