Holotype: CSIRO H 5301-08. Paratypes: CSIRO H 1190-03 (1), H 2294-02 (1), H 2584-22 (1), H 2616-03 (1), H 2621-03(1), H 4873-05 (1). Plus non-type specimens. •Valid as Chimaera fulva Didier, Last & White 2008 -- (Last et al. 2008:345 [ref. 29699], Luchetti et al. 2011:400 [ref. 31442], Kemper et al. 2014:16 [ref. 33599], Weigmann 2016:165 [ref. 34211], Clerkin et al. 2017:31 [ref. 35546], Finucci et al. 2018:191 [ref. 35768]). Current status: Valid as Chimaera fulva Didier, Last & White 2008. Chimaeridae. Distribution: Southern Australia, including Tasmania. Habitat: marine.
