Type catalog: Böhlke 1953:49 [ref. 12291]. •Valid as Lamnostoma mindora (Jordan & Richardson 1908) -- (McCosker 1977:69 [ref. 6836], Séret & Dingerkus 1992:169 [ref. 22389], Kottelat et al. 1993:12 [ref. 23448], Smith & McCosker 1999:1668 [ref. 24715], Zhang et al. 2010:369 [ref. 31511], McCosker 2014:339 [ref. 33288] as ? from Philippines, Ho et al. 2015:168 [ref. 34130], Miesen et al. 2016:81 [ref. 34492], Chiu et al. 2018:20 [ref. 36033], Jamandre 2023:160 [ref. 40455]). Current status: Valid as Lamnostoma mindora (Jordan & Richardson 1908). Ophichthidae: Ophichthinae. Distribution: Southeast Asia: Philippines, Java (Indonesia), eastern and southwestern Taiwan. Habitat: freshwater, brackish.
