Current status: Valid as Gobiesox schultzi Briggs 1951. Gobiesocidae: Gobiesocinae. Distribution: Eastern Pacific: Pacific coast of Baja California Sur (Mexico) and Gulf of California (Mexico). Habitat: marine.
